Donte Mosby, known as UFO to his fans, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. His family moved to Houston after facing challenging times in Chicago. As he grew up, he left for Las Vegas and then further moved to Los Angeles. The constant moving in his life posed challenges to his mental health where he turned to music as a form of therapy. He used music as the constant in his life as everything else seemed to be always changing. Music helped UFO zone in and augment his reality at an early age. Music was a natural calling to UFO, and he has spent the past 8 years finding his spot in the industry. He started on the producing side and about 4 years ago started making his own music. His biggest challenge has been risking stability to chase his dreams that did not have true certainty.
His music explains his movement through this challenge and shows his fans they need to be confident and calculated when taking risks because the reward is truly fulfilling and worth the journey. His music allows his listeners to be present in the moment and experience UFO’s emotions that are laced into his music.
He values his fans over everything and views his biggest accomplishment as an artist has been creating a fanbase of loyal listeners. He is grateful for every new follower and subscriber he gets which helps him level up his music.
